Back from vacation.....in Dallas!

After I took the wife and kid to see the family in Northwest Texas, we decided to hit up Dallas on the way back....and I saw some sites!

Here is a pic of Brinkmann Ranch, the original Southfork ranch used in the mini-series pilot episodes in Frisco, Texas. Apparently it burned down...but going against some rumors, it was not bulldozed to the ground, the frame still stands today:



Then we went on the tour of the main Southfork Ranch (Formerly Duncan Acres) in Parker, Texas.

Here's me and the family there...(I even took the opportunity to hold up Larry Hagman's autobiography! That's my daughter in the back ground (she hurt her leg on the steps(just a scrape...no big deal.)
