What a bunch of crap!
When I heard they were making a Dallas movie a couple of years ago, I was totally stoked...an update my favorite movie series.
Alas Hollywood has successfully made this a flying piece just like all the rest of the crap I've seen lately.
As reported at http://www.darkhorizons.com/, the Dallas movie is now going to be a comedy.
They have scrapped the original script, along with most of the cast. Shirley MacLaine and Jennifer Lopez and John Travolta is still in. I was never happy about the casting of John Travolta, but if he makes this, it is downright sacriligious.
I'll stick with the original series. Dallas only works as a drama. J.R.'s smile has to be evil, not comedic!
